NOT SURE WHICH SIZE TO CHOOSE?

All of our loose leaf is measured the same way: 1 teaspoon of tea per 8 oz cup of water. Here’s what that gets you:

1 Tablespoon of loose leaf. Makes about 3 cups.

TEA TASTER POUCH

3 Tablespoons of loose leaf. Makes about 9 cups.

4 OZ POUCH

4 oz of loose leaf makes 40–50 cups of tea.

SINGLE STEEP TEA BAGS

15 individual tea bags, each with 1 teaspoon of our loose leaf inside. Makes 15 cups.

LOOSE LEAF BASICS

Scoop 1 rounded teaspoon into an infuser or strainer, pour hot water over it, steep, and lift the infuser out.

That’s it!

AMOUNT

1 teaspoon of loose leaf per 8 oz of water. (Using a Single Steep Tea Bag? Just 1 bag per cup.)

WATER

Boil water, let it cool for 1 minute, then add it to the tea.

TIME

Steep for 2–3 minutes, then lift out the infuser.

GOOD TO KNOW

Green tea can turn bitter if the water is too hot or it steeps too long, so watch the clock. Want it iced? Increase your amount (Example 2 tsp instead of 1 tsp) & pour it over ice.
